Lovable Labels Review & Giveaway #Back2School

It really is hard to believe summer is just about over and school will be starting here in a month. Last year I procrastinated and waited until the last minute to get prepared for my son to start kindergarten. This year-I am on top of it! Lunch box, clothes, backpack, shoes, and even school supplies have all been purchased. If you are prepping for your kiddos to start back to school then I want to introduce you to a great company called Lovable Labels. 

If you have a child in school weather they are in preschool or a senior in high school I can almost bet they have lost something at school. Maybe it was a jacket or even a lunchbox. Chances are when it was found it went straight to lost and found and was never seen again. That is why Lovable Labels are so awesome! 

Not only are Lovable Labels bright, fun and colorful but they also met the high standards that parents have come to expect. My favorite thing out of the whole entire pack is the mini-metal tags. Last year I was told to label my son's backpack, like I said before I just used a permanent marker. But this year thanks to Lovable Labels he has a great metal tag that will last.

The press and stick clothing dots are also wonderful they can be used on the lining of jackets however they are not meant to be used directly on fabrics. The only thing I wish that was included in this pack was a set of iron on labels for like hats and jackets that don't have lining. 

The Regular and Slimline labels are perfect for labeling my son's pencil box, bento box (see below) and his reusable water bottle.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with the Back to School pack we received from Lovable Labels. I would much rather use a label than a permanent marker to label my son's stuff. It's a whole lot easier and it looks so much better.

Last year I didn't know what to expect when my son went into kindergarten, I just assumed that school lunches were suppose to be healthy. Boy, was I wrong. Some of the stuff that they serve in the school cafeteria is absolutely appalling . My son hates eating in the lunch room so I don't make him. 

I have heard a lot of raves about Bento systems from other bloggers and of course on Pinterest. But lately I didn't really know what all the hype was about until I started doing some research. Bento systems can be pricey to get started with but once you have everything you need you are really set and in the long run it can actually save money!

I was excited when reuseit.com contacted me to do a review on a couple of their products. I knew I wanted a Bento system for my son for the upcoming school year. So ultimately I chose the Laptop Lunch Bento Carrier, Version 2.0 (Alien) & the Laptop Lunch Bento Box 2.0 (Berry Blue)

The first product we are going to start with is the Laptop Lunch Bento Carrier. My son loves the design of the bag, aliens are all of a sudden his favorite thing. He is fascinated with anything "outer space" related so I knew it would be perfect for him. 

The roomy design accommodates a Laptop Lunch Bento Box which we will talk about in a few minutes and small personal water bottle which is sold separately along with the reusable utensils . The bag it self is functional, reusable, very durable and well made. Laptop Lunch Bento Boxes enable parents to pack wholesome, nutritious meals for their kids while cutting down on wasteful, single-use containers for a waste free lunch. 

In my personal opinion if you wanted to you wouldn't even have to use it as just a bento carrier you could just use it as a lunch box without the bento boxes. Really I was expecting it to be larger but it really isn't any bigger or smaller than any other lunch boxes, with the exception of the depth. The carrier measures 7.5" H x 11.5" W x 2.5" D. The size is definitely not an issue its just right! 

The next product we received was the Laptop Lunch Bento Box 2.0 (Berry Blue). The box set includes a large outer container and five microwave safe food containers. 

The Bento Box set works perfectly with the carrier with a little room to spare on the sides for utensils and a napkin. The containers vary in size and three come with lids, enabling parents to pack dry and wet foods securely. The un-lidded containers are designed to accommodate dry foods such as vegetable sticks, crackers, cereal, sliced apple, etc. The lidded containers are perfect for wet foods, such as dips, yogurt, cottage cheese, and dressings. 

I love having the option of packing my son dressing for his carrot sticks or ketchup for chicken nuggets and not having to worry about it leaking out. The containers are a perfect size however, I don't think a whole sandwich would fit in the box not even in the large container. Not really an issue for us since my son only takes half a sandwich. 

Overall we are extremely satisfied with the Laptop Lunch system we received from Reuseit.com. I am going to be ordering my son a water bottle and the separate stainless steel fork & spoon set before he starts school.

Sleep Innovations Mattress Topper Review

My husband suffers from back problems. He has had his backed fused once before in the past and then about a month ago he had another pain management treatment. Finding a comfortable position in the bed is often a challenge for him. He is constantly complaining how uncomfortable our bed has gotten for him. We have seriously thought about buying another mattress set but being that our bed is only a couple years old I feel it would be a waste since we forked out about $1,200 for it. I was determined to find another solution to his sleeping issues besides buying  a new mattress. 

I was so excited when I got the chance to review one of Sleep Innovation's mattress toppers. I felt like this would be a product that would be beneficial to my husband.

I could not ask for a better solution to my husband's sleeping issues, it truly has made all the difference in the world for him. My review: 

I was sent a can of Spot Shot Pet to try out. I've tried other carpet cleaners on cat vomit but they all leave some sort of residue behind which leaves a soapy spot on the carpet. The house we are currently living in and fixing to move out of has hideous blue carpet and it shows EVERYTHING. After Zorro had an accident on the floor (aka hairball) I quickly grabbed my can of Spot Shot Pet and let me tell you this stuff is amazing! I love the fact that it is in an aerosol can unlike most of the carpet cleaners which are in a spray bottle. Its easy to spray and your guaranteed not to use too much of it. The cat vomit stain was all gone and there was no soapy reside left behind! After I vacuumed there was no sign that Zorro had an accident! 

Overall I am totally satisfied with Spot Shot Pet.

Have you started thinking about Back to school yet? I know, it's hard to do since we are right in middle of summer - but let's face it we will be sending our kids back to school in no time. I still can't believe I will have a first grader this year! 

I like to begin my back to school shopping early, and I like to do it online to avoid the crowd, be inside in the A/C, and save some gas money! I learnt my lesson last year when I went the week before school started to go shopping. I guess everyone did the same thing I did and procrastinated. This year-that will not be happening. 

While I was doing some early back to school online shopping, I came across a great site called TinySoles. 

Here is a little about TinySoles before I begin my review:

TinySoles is a shoe store dedicated to providing the most complete selection of stylish, comfortable shoes for babies, infants, toddlers and kids. TinySoles personally test all of their shoe brands on their own kids first and if they don't love them, they won't sell them! What a great philosophy!

Some great brands that TinySoles carry are pediped, Keen, Merrell Kids, Robeez, See Kai Run, & Stride Rite! 

For our review I was allowed to choose a pair of shoes, and let me tell you the decision was not an easy one! They have SO many great brands and such a great selection. But in the end, I ended up choosing a pair of shoes my son can wear to school and something I know that will last. 

pediped Flex Jones (Blue) 

I have been a pediped fan for a while now, my youngest son has a pair that I purchased and they have lasted longer than any other shoe I have ever bought for my children. 

The pediped Flex Jones is a pretty awesome shoe, it has a casual yet sporty look, and you know what else I love about these? The Velcro strap! Last year I cannot tell you how many times my son would come home with his shoes untied. Tying shoes is something we are definitely working on this summer. I also love the upper Suede material which is super easy to clean compared to cloth! The rubber soles are extremely flexible and are not stiff at all and fit my sons foot perfectly.

pediped also has a great thing called the Flex Fit System. It provides additional insoles that can be inserted for a snug fit then removed for room as your child's foot grows. These insoles can reduce shoe size by almost half a size, extending the life of the shoe. 

The last pair of pediped's I purchased I bought them big on purpose, and I chose to get a size bigger with these as well just for the fact that they have the Flex Fit System. Which does really work, and in the long run saves me money because I am not buying shoes as often! 

Not only are pediped shoes stylish but they are extremely good for your little ones feet. They have been approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association for promoting healthy foot development. Just take a look at the chart above and you will see some of the reason's why pediped is so great.

So as you may have noticed I am totally in love with pediped's Flex Jones shoes but I am also very much in love with TinySoles.
