In an effort to become more eco-friendly and to teach my kids how to be more eco-friendly I got the chance to review Green Toy's Fire Truck. My youngest son Sean is 2  he is all boy and loves anything that has to do with trucks and of course fire trucks so I knew this was a great choice for him.

My review:

I have heard of Green Toys before however we have never owned any of them. As soon as the "Packy" Man (that's what my 2 yr old calls him) aka the UPS man dropped the package at the doorstep and I opened it my son was jumping up and down saying "What's that?" I wasn't going to give it in so soon and give it to him I wanted to look over it first and snap a couple of pictures before he ripped the box open.

I noticed right away as soon as we got it out of the box how well constructed the truck was. It was solid, didn't feel cheaply made and I couldn't help but notice what cute little details there were such as a steering wheel. The ladder even rotates 360 degrees! There are 2 removable side ladders on the truck which I have to say aren't the easiest to remove for my son. In fact they're nearly impossible for him to remove. He really doesn't care to much about those anyway to not like the toy. :)

We have had the fire truck now for 4 days and its the first toy my son goes to play with in the morning when he gets up. It even took a tumble down the porch stairs this morning and survived with no breaks or cracks in the plastic. So like I said its well made. As a Mom knowing that my kid's toys are eco-friendly and BPA free is a huge plus for me.
